Pest control sprayed our perimeter, but not the actual spiders?

We just had pest control out, and he went around the house and sprayed he perimeter of it, including windows and door frames. But he didn't spray the area where the spiders are nesting. Is this normal? Will these spiders eventually die off, or will the pesticide reach them? This is the first time we've had pest control out, so I'm not sure what protocol is.

Thanks - and PLEASE ONLY RESPOND IF YOU KNOW THE ANSWER. I don't need opinions. Thanks again!Pest control sprayed our perimeter, but not the actual spiders?
they are not spraying to kill insects outright. as the insect travels through the sprayed area the pesticide clings to them, they take it with them and it will kill them.Pest control sprayed our perimeter, but not the actual spiders?
My friend has been doing pest control for many years, and they told me when they sprayed for spiders it wont get rid of the spiders because spiders react differently to the pesticide than insects do. It will only get rid of the insects and make less food for the spdrs. Spiders like large open spaces
