I have no idea what the laws are in the UK. But in the states you must be licensed to diagnose, mix, and apply chemicals in residential or commercial applications. I've got to think something like it exists in the UK.

Or you could call up a couple local pest prevention companies and ask them about employment opportunities and what sort of coursework/licensing you would need. They will know exactly what you needIm interested in pest control ,i have no experiance.what courses should i take to get me started?
All City Councils in the UK employ pest-control officers.There are also companies such as Rentokil etc.,.I know of no courses (as such) one would be trained on the job !
