Difference between Biological pest control and chemical pesticides?

I need a difference between the twoDifference between Biological pest control and chemical pesticides?
If you use lady bugs to eat the harmful insects, that is biological. If you import birds that eat the specific pest, that is biological

If you use a chemical whether it is made in the lab or natural, that is a chemical pesticideDifference between Biological pest control and chemical pesticides?
science teacher has it covered.

living organisms for bio ...nematodes ( smallest ) tiny critters , less than a milimeter munch on larger pests such as spidermite etc.

chemicals made in a lab , mixed into appropriate pesticide for species of pest to be erradicated.

most important difference is health and safety.

biological control of pests is slow , random and prone to failure from weather etc. but is the safest for man and environment.

chemical is cheap , instant in most cases and is applied around weather patterns so it avoids being washed off by rain or baked on and rendered useless by hot sun.

chemical also leaves a trace residue on/in any crop applied to. not so good for man and enviroment but much much more widely used than biological which equates to nearly 50 times more expensive in some cases.

hope that helps
