Do pest control high frequency transmitters work?

No. It's a scam and my dad fell for it when I was a kid.

It's supposed to put out some supersonic frequency that only bugs and mice can hear. That's great, but bugs don't have ears and it doesn't bother mice at all.

Mice have a super high-frequency range of hearing and so do dogs. This pest thingy didn't bother Fido, so it isn't going to bother the mouse. I guess that logic should have told my dad to keep the $20.Do pest control high frequency transmitters work?
i ve tried them to no avail, after awhile they build up a tolerance to them. i ve tried both with mice and moles. finally i got a cat after the mice started to only get high on the poison, pull plastic over the sticky traps, and the moles started uising them for back massagersDo pest control high frequency transmitters work?
No, they do not. I have seen people use these to rid their homes of roaches, only to find that the roaches set up housekeeping inside the device. I have also seen mice in homes with ';high frequency mouse chasers';.
It worked for me. Used it for raccoons and squirrels. The way to think of it is that it irritates them only. Meaning it will make them want to leave. But they won't if they're attending young or it has a food source. Just like if you were starving, you would eat in a noisy restaurant, but not if you wanted to chat with a buddy over coffee...
no no no !!!!! i use to have em all over my house, they didnt seem to do a thing.... so dont go and waste a dime on em.
