Does anyone know the side effects of working in Pest Control?

I start my new job tomorrow and I just thought about all the chemicals I am going to be around. I need to know if it is going to be okay working with chemicals for long periods of time.Does anyone know the side effects of working in Pest Control?
As Gardener/Groundsman, I used all kinds of pesticides, herbicides. Some were benign to humans. Whereas others have the ability to do serious damage to the populace. The UK and European Union leaglly removed the availability of many lethal products from public and agricultural use.

Mercurous chloride

Benzine Hexachloride

Potassium cyanide

Arsenic

Lead Arsenate

Malathion

Pyrethrum

Sulphur

Strychnine

Nicotine

I have used these substances in varying quantities up until they were banned, yet they did the job effectively. Use properly, following the directions in their particular leaflets - ALWAYS READ THEM. Wearing the appropriate protective gear and clothing, the user should remain healthy.

You should always be public aware.

Check the MSDS (material safety data sheet) for each of the chemicals. The MSDS will tell you what risks you face.
